Hi everyone ! Yes, I am the most famous ermine in Brittany ! Crazy, isn’t it ? I just hope you will all love me, because you are going to see me often on the 1 500km of that giant loop. I am the signs you are looking for, to be sure you are following the right path. If you can’t see me anymore…bad for you, you are probably a little lost ! But, with me, you will also cross the ancient areas called “Bros”, and I will tell you all their stories, legends, landscapes, works, meetings…People’s lives and territories’ ones…I will tell you everything !

It was during winter time, in the morning, (yes, sure it was winter because my fur is only white at this season…), I was hunting when I heard that noise…

Not very far, behind the trees, a all hunters’ army came, their eyes sat on me ! I thought I’d become a winter coat, for a while !

So, I raised myself, yelling to the pretty Lady following the hunters, this sentence which is now famous…”Kentoc’h marvel eget bezan saotret (rather death than stain)”.

Of course I’m talking Breton language ! I’m brave Sir, I can assure assure you that I am. All of this courage helped me…to run away !

The beautiful Lady was, in fact, the Duchess Anne. She refused to hunt me and thanks to her, I crossed centuries, becoming the Brittany’s symbol, an invincible Brittany !”
